As frequent travellers, we are particularly concerned by the quality of accommodation. Our ambition was to develop in Marrakech a type of lodging which would display in the same time unique archictectural beauty, confortable rooms and lounges and service quality in an ideal location.
Fortunately, a vacant empty piece of property in Marrakech, has been found near Bab Ksour at a few minutes from Djam El Fn’a Square, and also very close to the new parts of the city.
For the architecture, we trusted Karl Fournier and Olivier Marty, who had built and designed the famous hotel L’Heure Bleue in Essaouira. For our riad, they picked their inspiration in the Medersa Ben Youssef, one of the most famous historic and cultural site in Marrakech. The outcome has gone far ahead of our expectations. This beautiful house, marrying traditional architecture and modernity inspires calm and serenity.
Our personnel has been selected with a special attention by ourselves and by our manager Christian Martin. They all have a strong commitment to our guest’s comfort and to a subtle quality service. Our cook Ishan makes delicious and refined food, mostly based on authentic Morrocan style.
We sincerely hope that our reception and service will charm you, but of course, you will be the only judges.
